In the journalism business there’s something called a second-day story. This term generally applies to stories that come out of an event but aren’t quite important enough to be published on said event’s first day. Such is the case with this 2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys ’41 Buzz trim — there were bigger fish to fry in LA, even at Jeep’s own stand.
Properly prioritizing story order doesn’t mean we should ignore the smaller stories. So we dutifully present to you the Willys ’41 Buzz, which “pays tribute” to the Kaiser Jeep M715 military truck.
It does so with 17-inch olive drab wheels, a Mojave hood with a special decal, tan inserts for the green cloth seats, steel front and rear bumpers, Mopar grille guard, and mud-terrain tires.
From the press release:
“The Willys ‘41 buzz model brings military-inspired design and proven Jeep capability together in a way that’s both timeless and trail-ready,” said Bob Broderdorf, CEO of the Jeep brand.
There’s not much more to it than that — pricing starts at $47,840 plus $1,995 in destination and delivery fees.
