The Mazda CX-70 debuted just a couple years ago as a two-row version of the CX-90, and it’s scheduled for a modest update as it heads into the 2026 model year. The SUV has a range of standard advanced driver-assistance features, an upscale interior, and new styling elements.

Mazda offers three powertrains for the 2026 CX-70, starting with the turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six with 280 horsepower. Upgraded Turbo S models get the same engine with power boosted to 340 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Plug-in hybrid models offer a 30-mile electric range and 323 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard for all trims.

The 2026 CX-70 has more standard features than its predecessor, which include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power lumbar, LED exterior lighting, and a range of safety tech features. Mazda also updated the SUV’s exterior badging with black accents throughout.

A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen comes standard, offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s a unique interface that only offers touchscreen functionality when the smartphone mirroring features are in use and is otherwise controlled with a rotary dial.

Pricing for the 2026 CX-70 starts at $42,250 for the 3.3 Turbo Preferred trim. The top PHEV SC Plus costs $47,250, and Mazda offers a range of premium paints that start at $595.
